Implementation planned around your financial close.
A signed-off blueprint is only useful if it becomes a live system without breaking the month-end. We configure Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Engagement, migrate data with reconciliation at every run, support your team through UAT, and plan the cutover around your close calendar, then stay through the first month-end.
How delivery is structured
Delivery follows the blueprint in phases: core finance first, then supply chain or customer engagement, then integrations. Each phase ends with a demonstration to the process owners against the scenarios written in the blueprint, so progress is measured against something real.
Data migration is treated as a repeatable process, not a one-off weekend. Master data and balances are loaded in trial runs, reconciled, corrected at source and loaded again. By the final run, the numbers have already tied out several times.
User acceptance testing is supported, not just scheduled. Test scripts come from your real processes, defects are tracked to closure, and go-live happens only when the people who run the business say it works.
- You have a signed-off blueprint and need it built and live
- Data is coming from spreadsheets, AX 2012 or another ERP
- Your go-live date has to respect a financial close or a busy season
- You want one accountable consultant from configuration to hypercare
The steps, in the order they happen.
Configuration
Legal entities, chart of accounts, posting profiles, products, warehouses, workflows and security roles configured to the blueprint, with standard functionality first.
Extensions and integrations
Only where the blueprint says so, built as extensions and data-entity integrations so Microsoft update waves do not break them.
Data migration runs
Trial loads with reconciliation reports, corrections at source, repeat until the numbers tie out. The final run is a rehearsal, not an experiment.
UAT support
Test scripts written from your real scenarios, defects tracked to closure, training for process owners who then train their teams.
Cutover
A dated cutover plan around your close calendar: freeze, final migration, checks, go-live, with rollback criteria agreed in advance.
Hypercare
We stay through the first month-end on the new system, when the questions that matter actually come up.
- Configured Dynamics 365 environments to the blueprint
- Extensions and integrations, documented
- Data migration with reconciliation reports
- UAT test scripts and defect log
- Cutover plan with rollback criteria
- Hypercare through the first month-end
What usually goes wrong, and what fixes it.
The go-live that landed on month-end
A cutover was scheduled for the last week of the quarter. The finance team closed the books in the old system while learning the new one. Planning the cutover one week after close removes the conflict.
Migration as a surprise
Data was migrated once, on the go-live weekend, and inventory values were wrong on Monday. Repeated trial loads with reconciliation find the costing setup issue weeks earlier.
UAT that tested the demo, not the business
Test scripts were written by the partner from the configuration. The buyer’s real approval path was never tested. Scripts written from how the business actually works catch it.
Frequently asked
A single-entity finance and supply chain scope typically goes live within a few months; multi-entity or multi-country rollouts are phased. The roadmap from the consulting engagement gives the dates for your scope.
Yes. Master data, open transactions and balances are migrated through repeatable loads with reconciliation reports. Sources include spreadsheets, AX 2012 and other ERPs.
We draft them from your real processes, then your process owners review and extend them. The scripts become your regression pack for future update waves.
Daily check-ins, fast response on incidents, and help through the first month-end close on the new system. It ends when your team says it is settled, not on a fixed date.
Yes. We review it first so that scope, assumptions and estimates are understood on both sides, then deliver it.

Send it over, or describe the scope. We will come back with a delivery plan around your close calendar.
